Emily is the artist behind Emily Day Studio. She is a full-time painter of florals and landscapes and works out of her home studio, which looks over the hills to the west of Brisbane, Australia. She is interested in capturing the 'aliveness' of a moment in time, to feel completely grounded in the present whilst painting, and she has this hope for the viewer also. She works around the chaos of having two small children and one old rescue dog at home and always has a pot of black coffee brewing.
