As an artist, I am interested in exploring themes of time and memory. Flowers have forever been a subject matter and source of fascination, not only for myself, but for artists and viewers alike for hundreds of years.

It was after my own wedding, that I decided to paint the native Australian flowers that comprised my self-made bouquet, as a way to forever capture a very personal, yet very fleeting detail within such a monumental day, that could be kept forever.

 

After that, The Bouquet Project was born.
