'TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS' EXHIBITION / JULY 22 - 29, 2025 / LATROBE ART SPACE, QLD

ABOUT THE SHOW: Brisbane painters Kate Quinn and Emily Day welcome you to their exhibition ‘Tiny Beautiful Things’ at Latrobe Art Space in Meanjin/Brisbane. This exhibition, two years in the making, is a whimsical celebration of all things tiny & beautiful; designed to evoke a playful sense of nostalgia. Kate and Emily are joined by ceramic artists Tiny Pots Melbourne & Illys Wall, silversmith jeweller Isabelle Hesketh and musician/ weaver Waveney Yasso. Visitors might like to take part in ‘Tiny Mysterious Things’, a wall of mystery 20x25cm paintings on linen boards by Kate and Emily. Spin the wheel to find out which mystery painting is yours. $100 per spin. Then, grab a tiny bowl of popcorn and make your way through the gallery, browsing the small paintings, ceramics, wall hangings, jewellery and woven baskets, ending your journey by viewing a short movie showing the process behind each artists collection. Kate and Emily are thrilled to welcome you to their world of Tiny Beautiful Things.
